Jeff is the president of Van Gilder Insurance Agency. Born and raised here in Rice Lake, Jeff entered the insurance industry in 2001 as an MSI agent, then shifted to an independent agency in 2005.
Jeff is married to Stephanie Van Gilder and has raised 4 children while living in Rice Lake. During this time, Jeff has been active in coaching the youth baseball and hockey teams. Most recently, Jeff has been an assistant coach to the High School hockey team.
Over the years, Jeff has served as a board member for the Rice Lake Rod & Gun/Blue Hills Sportsman’s Club, the Rice Lake Hockey Association, and the Field of Dreams Disabled Hunt Program. Jeff pioneered the Field of Dreams Disabled Hunt Program back in 2006, which enables disabled individuals to get back in the outdoors.
While not in the office, Jeff enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, and spending time with the kids and grandchildren.
Jeff’s goal in the office is to have a family-friendly environment. Everyone, staff and clients, are treated as an extension of our families and it is a wonderful work environment.
